A Walk in Weesen

It was a sunny day with blue skies, the phonetemperature a crisp 19°C – the perfect weather to take a walk. My cousin suggested we go to Weesen, a small historic town on the shores of the Walensee, in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Weesen calls itself ‘Riviera on Walensee’ and the beautiful lake, with a fountain, offers opportunities for swimming, water skiing, windsurfing, diving, canoeing and sailing. Like every village, town, and city in Switzerland, Weesen has many walking and hiking trails. We chose a path that took us along the lake.
